Quick Start

This guide gets your website working with nsin from start to finish. It takes only a few minutes. You don’t need any special tools — just your nsin dashboard and access to wherever you bought your domain.

You will need:

  • A domain (your website address, like example.com).
  • An nsin account. If you don’t have one yet, sign up first.
  • Login access to your domain provider — the company where you bought your domain (for example GoDaddy, Namecheap, or your hosting company). You’ll make one small change there in Step 3.
  1. Log in to your nsin dashboard.
  2. Click Add Site (or the + button).
  3. Type your domain (for example example.com) and confirm.

nsin will scan your domain and bring in your current DNS records automatically.

nsin shows you a list of your DNS records (these point your domain to your server, email, and so on).

  1. Look through the list and make sure it looks right.
  2. If anything is missing, you can add it now. See Managing DNS Records for help.

This is the one change you make at your domain provider.

  1. In your nsin dashboard, find the two nameservers nsin gives you. They look something like dana.ns.nsin.ir and kian.ns.nsin.ir.
  2. Log in to your domain provider.
  3. Find the Nameservers setting for your domain.
  4. Replace the old nameservers with the two from nsin.
  5. Save.

Full details are on the Nameservers page.

After you change nameservers, the internet needs a little time to notice. This is usually quick, but it can take up to a day.

When nsin sees that your domain is pointing to it, your dashboard will show your site as Active.

That’s it. Your website is now:

  • Faster thanks to caching.
  • Secure with a free SSL lock.
  • Protected by nsin in front of your server.
  • Set up Rules to redirect pages, control caching, or block bad traffic.
  • Read about SSL / HTTPS to make sure your visitors always use the secure version of your site.
